Bardon Telstra Tower Protest

The existing facility at 55 Main Avenue Bardon is being decommissioned due to their lease expiring.

The new facility at 27 Gerler Street Bardon will be 22 times more powerful than the one it replaces.

Radiation will extend to 500 metres. The primary school is only 170 metres away.

Aurecon sends initial information pack
Telstra's representatives, Aurecon, contacted owners of the units at 27 Gerler Street (also known as 32 Hebe Street).

The 15 page document begins with a formal letter of notification of Telstra's intent to construct a mobile telecommunications facility at 27 Gerler Street Bardon. The document contains 3 attachments:

Attachment A - Community Information Sheet
Attachment B - Contact details and legislative compliance
Attachment C - Summary of estimate EME levels

On page 3 the document contains a concept photograph of the before and after "visual impact" (below). Can you spot the difference?
